T R A N S N A T I O N A L M E E T I N G S The partners wish to transform all the meetings into meaningful moments of work and personal exchange. All the 4 project meetings thus featured collateral activities designed to make the meetings useful beyond their organizational and administrative angles. First project meeting in Sweden, 3-7 March 2005 It is natural to organize the first meeting in the country where study circles have a century-old history. This will allow participants to get acquainted with the experience of the Swedish Partners right in their home and through meeting with the personnel and with the members of the local study circles, to collect much useful information both at a practical and organizational level. Since the goal of the project is the integration of three different approaches, it would have been a waste of resources not to widen the knowledge of all the issues from the start. Therefore, since the project foresees that three people for each Partner can travel, the partners have agreed that, besides the project meeting, the Italian and French Partners will organize two in-depth workshops on trees of knowledge and time banks, respectively. Second project meeting in France, Paris 5-9 October At this stage, the project will have been underway for several months and its main activities for a long time. The Partners have therefore thought it important to hold a public event and have decided on Paris as the ideal location to give the project the right visibility. A seminar (with simultaneous translation to allow for a large public attendance) has been deemed to be the first possible moment for assessing the situation and discussing and analysing both the previous experiences of the partners and the new theoretical and practical themes emerging from the project. Third project meeting in Bulgaria, Oct / Nov 2005 As already reported, Bulgaria claims a thriving activity in adult training but the three systems under study are new in the Country. The third meeting will take place during a stage of the project in which much information material and a great part of the new documents will have been made. The presence of the Partners in Sofia will also be an excellent opportunity to make the range of the before-the-project and project knowledge and experiences available to the Bulgarian training sector. Workshops on study circles, trees of knowledge and time banks will be organized by Sweden, France and Italy and the three Partners will jointly make the experience of integrating and developing the three systems, as carried out in the project, available. Fourth project meeting in Italy, June 2006 The Province of Genoa, which is the coordinating partner, obviously has organizational capacity and status to guarantee maximum visibility to the final event, the international congress. Simultaneous translation shall ensure maximum participation by the Italian public. |
